I am the marketer, the creator and the founder. I bring the strategy, the experience and the results.
I have spent over 25 years in marketing working with brands, building communities, running campaigns and growing businesses. I have also built my own content platform Babbling On to 300,000 followers. Collab Wiser was built from both of those experiences and one clear belief — that marketing and sales must work together to drive real, measurable growth.

The beginning
A career built in marketing
Shanel began her career over 25 years ago developing a deep understanding of what makes businesses grow across industries and at every stage. She learned early that marketing without a sales strategy is just activity and that the two must always work together to drive real commercial results.
The creator chapter
Building Babbling On from scratch
Shanel built her own content platform growing it to 250,000 Instagram followers and 50,000 on TikTok. She experienced first hand what it means to build an audience, negotiate brand deals and turn a platform into a business. One of the first women of colour to work with global brands. She has sat in brand meetings deciding which creators to work with and she has been the creator waiting to hear the answer.

Alongside her marketing and creator work Shanel built a growing community through events from fun social nights and intimate dinner clubs to the Babbling On Ladies themed events, business networking events and Shine Bright Rise, her transformational wellbeing experience.
